The main problems that currently exist are:
1. The low-voltage operation power factor is low and the reactive power consumption is large. Capacitor compensation is required. However, harmonic pollution causes resonance when the capacitor is put into operation, which causes the capacitor to be overloaded and damaged several times its own rated capacity, which affects the normal system. Therefore, the current compensation method is high-voltage centralized compensation to meet the power factor index required by the power supply department.
2. A large number of harmonics entering the high voltage side will cause abnormalities in other important loads such as the DCS system and monitoring system, affecting normal production and life.
Recommended solution: passive filter + active filter.
For all low-voltage systems, configure a capacitor compensation device with filtering function to absorb the main harmonic components in the system; in a low-voltage system with serious pollution, configure a combination of passive filter with different filter coefficients.
Wave filter: In key loads, a dynamic active filter is configured to achieve a better governance effect.
Eliminate the influence of system harmonics;
Reduce energy consumption and reduce production costs;
Improve power factor and avoid reactive fines;
Increase the service life of capacitors;
It can reduce the heat generation of transformers, cables, and motors, increase their service life, extend the mean time between failures in equipment operation, and reduce maintenance, repair and equipment replacement costs;
Eliminate the hidden danger of system resonance and ensure the safety and reliability of the power supply system;
Stabilize the voltage and reduce the interference of harmonics to the process control system;
Ensure the safe and stable operation of important sensitive equipment.
